Big Pineapple and Noosa

Fun and stunning beauty, that seems to be what I find on every excursion here in Australia. I had to go see the Big Pineapple! First, I love pineapple for sure. I like it grilled, in a curry, juiced, whatever, it’s one of my favorite fruits indeed. And this huge pineapple didn’t disappoint. It’s really close to where I am staying here on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland so I did a short detour to see it on my way up to Noosa.

There is a small zoo and train ride you can take behind the pineapple. I skipped it as I had just been to the Australia Zoo a couple days before. but I did see that they had lovely vegan ice cream and snacks as well. A fun road stop to put a smile on your face.

Noosa blew my mind. What an incredibly beautiful spot. The beach meets the Noosa National Park- Headland Section for a cliffside walk out of a dream. Watch the waves crashing, the surfers heading out to play and stack a rock to add to the fun display. I have to get back to this place, the town has cute shops and restaurants to browse as well. And another sugary sand beach inviting you to drop everything and just relax for a while, or have a swim!
